It is the successor to the hugely successful XS3600, itself replaced by the MXS3.6, which consistently won awards and is our recommend charger/conditioner for batteries up to 120aH for sports and executive cars with 3 litre plus engines which typically have batteries of 65aH+.
It is the same unit that CTEK produce for Ferrari, Porsche, Aston Martin, Mercedes and Bentley but without their sticker which typically doubles price !
It offers important features such as desulphation, maintenance charging and cold mode for optimised charging during cold winter days.
It is also suitable for charging demanding AGM batteries (i.e. Optima). It is the ideal charger for those looking for quality and simple connect and forget charging.
The MXS 3.8 is a fully automatic 7-step charger that charges 12V batteries from 7-75 Ah and is suitable for maintenance charging up to 120Ah.
The MXS 3.8 is IP 65 classified (splash and dust proof) and delivers selectable 0.8A or 3.6A.
It is designed to protect vehicle electronics and is non-sparking-, reverse polarity protected and short-circuit proof.
