Orders received before 1.30 pm are usually processed the same day, subject to stock availability. If your order is critical for Next Day delivery, please call us to confirm your order has been received. Next Day Delivery to UK Highlands, all Islands including Man and Wight (as defined by our carriers) and Northern Ireland cannot be guaranteed, even if you specify that on your order. Orders for total baskets over 2kg to Northern Ireland will attract extra shipping charges to recover our costs – please use the appropriate shipping option when checking out, as your order will be held if not.
Additional charges may apply to the usual ‘non-Mainland’/remote locations.
We are happy to ship worldwide and will provide an individual shipping quote on request. Or see if one of our international resellers is close to you. UK Islands and Highlands orders will incur additional shipping costs IF we cannot cover our costs with the amount of carriage you have paid. Note that orders to the EU will need to be a minimum of £135 inc. shipping due to recent VAT changes.
Race Glaze Shipping Terms
UK mainland orders may use the option of Next Working Day delivery. This does not therefore include Saturdays or Bank Holidays. This applies only to orders received before 2pm, after this time we cannot make any guarantees for next day delivery, and your order may be delayed by one day.
This does not apply to premium/rural/offshore delivery zones, as defined by our carriers DPD. You will know if you live in one. If Next Day delivery is critical, please call us to ensure we have received your order and we may be able to make alternative arrangements. This option excludes custom products, Tailor Made Car Covers for example, which are made to order and can take up to 4 weeks to deliver. Where the customer has taken advantage of a free delivery offer, the mode of delivery will be at our discretion. Therefore, if Next Day delivery is required, please contact us. If a customer has ordered under a UK delivery option and is overseas, Race Glaze shall hold the order until such time as additional carriage costs have been covered.
Important Note: The customer is responsible for completing full order details; Name, Billing Address – as it appears on the card statement address, Delivery Address, email contact and associated telephone numbers to the fullest. This will ensure that all orders are processed in a timely manner. The details Race Glaze request are processed through a verification service and failure to provide complete and accurate details may cause a delay in processing and dispatching any order.
Whilst every reasonable effort shall be made to keep any delivery date, time of delivery shall not be of the essence and we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages or expenses incurred by the Customer or any other person or company arising directly or indirectly out of any failure to meet any estimated delivery date.
Failure by the Customer to pay for delivery when due shall entitle us to hold deliveries until such payment is received.
Delivery of the Goods shall be made to the Customer’s address and the Customer shall make all arrangements necessary to take delivery of the Goods whenever they are tendered for delivery.
Goods left on request by means of Special Delivery Instructions are the responsibility of the customer and we will not be held liable for missing or stolen items.
If you are requesting delivery to a country outside of the UK, you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance, VAT and taxes must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, when ordering from Race Glaze, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.
Damaged in Transit
As internal damage cannot always be identified on delivery, the Customer must sign the drivers manifest as “unchecked”. Should any damage be identified on opening the package, Race Glaze must be advised within 48 hours of the exact damage. It is imperative that the Customer does not dispose of any of the packaging, as this will be required to affect a claim against the carrier. The claim will be handled by Race Glaze, and an arrangement may be made to collect the damaged goods and replacements sent.
We cannot accept any claims for damage if the above time scales are not followed.
It is the Customer’s responsibility to notify us of any incorrect goods supplied within 48 hours of delivery. If the items are not as ordered, the Customer must not open the product packaging or use the item. The Customer will also be required to provide further information on what was received. Should there be any extenuating circumstances that has prohibited the Customer to remain within the specified time frame, resolution will be at our discretion.
We will not accept liability for goods lost in transit unless we are notified within 5 days from the expected delivery date.
We shall accept no liability for shortages, non-deliveries, incorrect goods and goods damaged on delivery outside the reported time scales. Except when extenuating circumstances have prevented notification within the reported timescale. Acceptance of the validity of extenuating circumstances will be at our discretion.
Equipment Regulations 2006 (‘WEEE’)
Provided you despatch the goods to Race Glaze at your own expense, and they are comparable with the product you purchase from us in replacement, we will dispose of your waste goods in compliance with the Regulations. We take seriously the need to minimise unsorted waste, promote recycling and protect public health. Please do not dispose of goods marked with a crossed out wheelie bin symbol in your domestic refuse.
