We have several large Portuguese pines and I am forever having to deal with big blobs of resin – I don’t have the time/inclination to remove these spots weekly as it would be a never ending job, so instead they get done a few times a year. As many of you know – the problem is when they go hard they’re a pain to remove.
Over the year I’ve tried so many different things – it turned out that for me, the easiest solution was a non-acetone nail remover – however this still had some nasty ingredients such as MEK and ethyl acetate that I didn’t really want to keep using. So, I tried this Autosol product.
I sprayed it on a couple of big blobs, left it for a minute then slowly began to rub with a MF. It only went and worked!!! And whats more, unlike harsh chems that require a quick blast with the makita when all done, this left zero marring. Some blobs took a while longer, but all were removed in a more than acceptable time (for me).
Just wanted to leave this review for anyone else (like me) who uses the search facility! Finally, I have found something that works almost as well as stuff I’d rather not have to use. Get in! Thanks AutoSol
