Race Glaze Water Filter (25 Litre)

Description

Larger 25 Litre resin capacity 0 PPM in-line water filter, ideal for professionals and serious detailers with collections of cars. The largest one, on the right.

Works in exactly the same way as the 7 litre version, should typically produce approx. 1400 litres of pure filtered water which will leave NO water spots on your vehicle, no matter what colour it is or how hot it is when washing. This prevents adding drying marks or swirls, water spots etc. And saves time. Water output figures will vary with your local water hardness, most people will achieve better results – this is based on medium hard Hertfordshire water.

Complete with 25 Litre of pure first grade MB115 ion exchange resin producing drinking water quality filtered water. Manufactured under ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification.

It is illustrated next to the smaller, standard 7 Litre filter, and stands approx. 1 metre tall. It will need securing to a wall to prevent it falling over, though our Water Filter brackets do not fit this unit.

We recommend that a final rinse is performed at half mains pressure, just sufficient to create a wave of water over the vehicle, and should be able to be completed in around 45 seconds for a standard family car, little over a minute for a 4×4. This is based on our own usage over the last 4 years.

Our resin vessels are made in Europe (many are not) and comprise a PE inner shell and wound fibreglass outer. These are high quality, strong units with best quality fittings and top grade resin.

NOTE ON SHIPPING OUTSIDE MAINLAND UK
These are heavy items and our low standard carriage rate is designed to keep costs down for customers of our standard size car care products. Shipping for these filters outside mainland England, Scotland and Wales is simply too much for us to absorb and unfortunately has to passed onto customers. Shipping to Northern Ireland for instance, for a filter alone is £25 in total. Please contact us if you live outside mainland UK.

WARRANTY
The product is warranted free of manufacturing defects for 12 months, but the resin media is a consumable and not covered. If the vessel is dropped or falls, warranty on the cap and body is void.

We recommend the use of brand new hose on the outlet side, as existing hose will have limescale deposits inside which will be washed off onto your car, producing a less than 0PPM result where it matters most. This is also 1 reason why we recommend not using a pressure washer with this product as its pump and pipework will also be contaminated. In addition, having a dedicated hose means that the 100ml per metre (of hose) of pure treated water remains in there for next time, rather than being purged when you use tap water for the actual car wash element if you only use 1 hosepipe. We sell suitable hose by the metre.
